  6. PREPARING FOR THE TEST

  9. At the prompt, select the test format you'd like: 25, 50, or 100 cards. A display
  10. of the five types of cards (circle, square, cross, wavy lines, and cross) will
  11. show on your screen -- decide which one you feel (or know, for those with ESP
  12. must be saying) will be next. Type the number of which one you have selected at
  13. the prompt, and the result -- a match, or what the correct one was -- will be
  14. shown. A calculation of the correct/attempts made, the percentage correct so far,
  15. and the probability will be displayed to you.

  17. The percentage is a simple calculation of the number correct, divided by the
  18. attempts made, multiplied by 100 to give the percentage: correct/attempts*100.

  20. The calculation of probability is more complicated. Probability is defined as
  21. the following equation:
